Gosh, I hate it when people who should know better come over to my house wearing their smelly stuff. My nurse came over and set off a major asthma attack. It took about 2 hours to get my breathing back under control. The best I can figure it is either her shampoo or her fabric softener. Both were smelly. She has been here before and didn't have a problem, but this time we sure did. Not exactly sure what it was or just the combination of the two. It really drives me nuts to know that people sometimes just don't think. MCS really sucks.

Hi Wendy,
We just started a blog similar to yours called "fragrance allergy" at blogspot... because you had "fragranceallergies" taken. I would like it to be a clearinghouse for solutions. Solutions that don't involve the astronaut suit or being a hermit.
We are interested in getting much more scientific research and public awareness focused on this issue-- as much as there has been on peanuts or second-hand smoke. I like your tag: "a place to talk about MCS." Could your blog be the Diaries of the MCS sufferers? Do others comment about their situations? That sense of not being alone is important. But so is widespread media coverage, sponsorship, scientific research and linkage to other public health concerns. It's not just MCS sufferers who suffer. It's all of us.
Are you ready for a fight???
